Mary Finn School Update

Week ending, Friday, June 6th, 2025

Main entrance

Dear Finn Families

We are FAST approaching the final stretch of the school year. And as we do we are helping our students reflect on all that they've accomplished through fun activities and celebrations (please keep in mind teaching and learning is still happening).

Our youngest learners kicked off the excitement with Preschool Field Day, a day filled with bubbles, obstacle courses, and plenty of giggles. The joy on our preschoolers’ faces was contagious as they explored each station with curiosity and enthusiasm.

And earlier today our Kindergarten students enjoyed their very own Kindergarten Fun Day—an action-packed outdoor event featuring games and playful team challenges. These events not only brought out smiles and sunhats, but they also highlighted the importance of movement, teamwork, and fun in the learning process.

And our Grade 1 students dazzled us with their Musical Performances under the wonderful direction of Mrs. Morgan. Their singing and joy lit up the stage—and our hearts. These performances were more than just music; they were a celebration of growth, confidence, and collaboration that our students have nurtured all year long.

Because there are so many wonderful photos to share, your child's classroom teachers will be emailing photos.

We have a little over 1 week left and we all are so proud of each of our Finn Students.

Enjoy the weekend.

Volunteer Opportunities: SOS Open Positions 2025-2026

Southborough Organization for Schools (SOS) is looking for volunteers for the 2025-2026 school year. SOS is Southborough School District’s parent teacher organization (PTO). SOS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, composed of parent volunteers committed to working with our school teachers and administrators to enhance the learning experience of our children.

Each school has its own SOS committee which plans school wide events and meets directly with the school principal to support the school. This is a great and fun opportunity to get involved by giving back to your schools while directly supporting your child(ren).

You can find the list of open positions on the Finn SOS committee, along with the roles and responsibilities by following the link below. If you have any questions please email finnsosvolunteer@gmail.com.
