Even with a short week, our students maintained their groove in learning and having fun.
Grade 1tudents across the school were thrilled to welcome Southwick Zoo’s traveling mobile zoo, which brought learning to life in a truly hands-on way. their were some close-up encounters with skunks, pythons, and parrots (check out the photos below). Students asked thoughtful questions and it was a great experience. Thank you to Finn SOS for funding this enriching event.
In Kindergarten, students are continuing to learn about farm animals and building vocabulary, making connections to their world, and deepening their understanding through stories, discussions, and joyful exploration.
And Midweek, our school handled an unexpected fire alarm during the school day, and we could not be more proud. Students and staff responded calmly, responsibly, and efficiently, demonstrating exactly the kind of readiness and teamwork we practice regularly. Thank you to our staff, students, and parent lunch volunteers for their calm response.
And finally, there’s a noticeable buzz in the air—students are already excited about the snowstorm forecasted for Sunday into Monday.
Thank you and please stay safe this weekend.
