I hope this message finds you well and that you enjoyed your Parent/Teacher conference and hearing about all the growth and development that has taken place for your child over the past year. If you have any feedback about your experience, I would truly appreciate hearing from you—your input helps us continue to strengthen and refine our processes.
It has been a vibrant and engaging week here at the Finn School! We are especially proud of our librarian, Lisa Wagoner, who organized the MSLA State Bookmark Award contest. We were thrilled to see one of our very own, Sria Joshi, recognized along with other Southborough students.
In Spanish class, Señora Grazianni has been bringing learning to life. Our first graders recently participated in a “look-and-find” activity using Hispanic artifacts displayed in our main entrance—turning the space into an interactive cultural experience. Additionally, our kindergarten students have been exploring shapes in Spanish, building both language skills and foundational math concepts in engaging ways.
And during the District's Wellness Week, We were excited to kick off “Walk to School Wednesdays” with Mrs. Provencal and Mr. McCabe's Annual Obstacle Course. These events are great examples of promoting fun, exercise, and healthy habits, build community, and start the day with energy and connection.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Finn SOS for organizing a highly successful Book Fair. Their time and effort created a joyful experience for our students and helped foster a love of reading across the school.
And finally a big THANK YOU to Ed Kaufman, foor covering for me during my leave. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.
Enjoy April Vacation and see you all on Monday, April 27th.
Clayton and the Finn School Staff
