Mary Finn School Update week ending Friday, May 1st 2026

Main entrance

Dear Finn Families,

Spring has finally 'SPRUNG' at Finn, and you can see it the moment you step on to our campus. Our flowers are blooming, trees are budding, and the Finn Garden is getting ready for veggie seedlings. All of this newness is making its way right into our classrooms.

In Preschool, students are embracing the joy of the season by exploring and sharing some of their favorite springtime events. From outdoor fun to seasonal celebrations, their excitement has been contagious.

Our Kindergarten and Grade 1 classrooms have been busy digging into the life cycle of plants. Students have begun planting vegetable seeds and are learning firsthand what it takes for something to grow and thrive.

Additionally, students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 are engaging with beloved stories such as Frog and Toad, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, Feelings by Aliki, and A Gown for the Duchess. Through these texts, they are continuing their work on comprehension, exploring emotions, and participating in a variety of creative and hands-on activities. Check out the photos of some student work below.

And finally, we are getting ready for our annual Kindergarten Screening for our 2026-2027 incoming Kindergarten class. If you need to register your child for Kindergarten, please start the registration on our website: https://www.nsboro.k12.ma.us/323681_2 or contact Tracy King at 508-485-3176 for more information.

Enjoy the weekend.
