Mary Finn School Update

Last Week of the 2025- 2026 School Year

Dear Finn Families,

Dear Finn School Families,

Today we end another school year, and I find myself reflecting with great pride on all that our students have accomplished.

Together, we celebrated academic growth, new friendships, joyful traditions, and most importantly, countless acts of kindness and love. Moments that remind us what makes the Finn School such a special place.

The last day of school is always filled with mixed emotions. Some students will move on to new schools, some staff members will begin new chapters, and for many of us, familiar routines and daily connections will come to an end.

For me, this day is especially bittersweet, as it is also my opportunity to say a final goodbye to the Southborough Community and to the many families I have had the great pleasure of knowing over the years. Getting to know you and your children has meant so much to me, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and countless wonderful memories.

As I begin this next chapter, I do so with great confidence and optimism for the future of the Finn School. I'm very happy to pass the torch to our incoming principal, Deb Lemieux. I know Deb will build upon the strong foundation we have created together and continue to ensure that the Finn School remains the loving heart and foundation of Southborough Public Schools for many years to come.

I can't think of a more fitting farewell than the one our students sang to all of us yesterday, as all of the staff who are moving joined me in the gym.

Good Wishes to You. Those words capture exactly what is in my heart. I wish each and every one of you continued happiness, health, and success.

With sincere gratitude,

Clayton
