From the Principal

What an amazing week we had at the Finn School! Mr. Martineau and Mrs. Reinhorn visited our school on Thursday. We learned a lot of fun facts about them on Ms. Lisa's morning show.
I hope to see you at Finn Fall Festival on Sunday, 12-3!

Friday, Oct. 30, 2026

On Friday, October 30th, students are welcome to wear fall colors, comfortable clothes (such as pajamas or onesies), Finn spirit wear, or Halloween costumes to school. Please note that students will remain in their chosen outfits throughout the entire day, as changing clothes during school hours is not permitted. All attire should allow for easy bathroom use and full participation in gym, lunch, recess, and specials.
For those choosing to wear Halloween costumes, please ensure they are not disruptive to student learning and do not include toy weapons (e.g., guns, knives, swords, etc.). We also ask that costumes avoid any scary or gory accessories, full masks, or face paint.
We understand that not all families celebrate Halloween, and we respect those preferences. Participation in costume-wearing is completely optional.

This will be a full day of learning for students. Activities during the day will not include any Halloween themes.

Bullying Prevention Month (10/1)

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and it's a cause close to all of our hearts here at school. Every child deserves to feel safe, and respected, both in our hallways and beyond. This month, our students are exploring what it means to be an upstander, not a bystander, and practicing the courage it takes to speak kindly and include others. We encourage families to open conversations at home about what bullying looks like, how it feels, and what your child can do if they ever witness or experience it. Together, we can build a community where every student knows they belong.
