Hello Finn Families,

What a wonderful week of learning! I had the opportunity to visit many classrooms this week during UFLI, Wit & Wisdom, Letterland (PreK), and Focus (PreK). Students were busy learning letters and letter sounds and exploring nonfiction texts. They were so excited to share their learning with me, and it was a joy to see their enthusiasm and engagement!

As colder weather approaches, now is a great time to practice putting on snow gear with your child at home. Since students go outside for recess after lunch this year, being able to independently manage coats, snow pants, boots, and other winter gear will help them make the most of their outdoor playtime. Thank you for partnering with us as we support your child in building independence with daily school routines!

Lunch on Half Days: This year, we will be serving lunch on half days. I will be sending out a lunch sign-up shortly to help us plan and prepare. Thank you for your help!

In December, our students will be learning about Celebrations Around the World! We invite parents, guardians, and caregivers to sign up to visit our school and share a celebration that is meaningful to your family. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about the many traditions and celebrations that make our school community unique. We look forward to learning and celebrating together! I will send a reminder post with the sign-up link. Please sign up by Oct. 23.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year runs October 19–November 10, ending with a colorful dance party on Tuesday, November 10! Students and families can fundraise and earn fun prizes along the way.

🚀 Monday, October 19 — Fundraising Begins!

Students will bring home an information pamphlet with RallyUp registration instructions, fundraising ideas, prize details, and postcards to send to friends and family.

👕 Tuesday, October 20— T-Shirt Size Deadline!

Every student will receive a RainbowRaiser T-shirt in their assigned class color to wear at the dance party. Please submit your student’s size by October 20.
